REVIEW – A non-stop action story that has very interesting characters who help you get sucked into the story and then no be able to put the book down. Plenty of surprises in the story kept me gripped and i did not expect some of the surprises at all. Intense action and fight scenes that where easy to read so in turn great images of the scene in my head led to high octane action story well worth a read

Evan Smoak—government assassin gone rogue—returns in Hellbent, an engrossing, unputdownable thriller from Gregg Hurwitz, the latest in his #1 international bestselling Orphan X series.

Taken from a group home at age twelve, Evan Smoak was raised and trained as an off-the-books government assassin: Orphan X. After he broke with the Orphan Program, Evan disappeared and reinvented himself as the Nowhere Man, a man spoken about only in whispers and dedicated to helping the truly desperate.

But this time, the voice on the other end is Jack Johns, the man who raised and trained him, the only father Evan has ever known. Secret government forces are busy trying to scrub the remaining assets and traces of the Orphan Program and they have finally tracked down Jack. With little time remaining, Jack gives Evan his last assignment: find and protect his last protégé and recruit for the program.

But Evan isn’t the only one after this last Orphan—the new head of the Orphan Program, Van Sciver, is mustering all the assets at his disposal to take out both Evan (Orphan X) and the target he is trying to protect.

REVIEW – OK, lets get the formalities out of the way you have to read the other books in the series. But now for the fun part, this series is a rip-roaring ride filled with action, suspense, and danger. This book is equally as thrilling as the rest and Greg has a writing style that is captivating and moves swiftly but keeps the story moving well and it certainly had me captured. I am a huge fan of assassins and secret agents and for a while i was left wanting but this series and new release certainly keep me satisfied

Former SEAL Malachai “Mac” MacCarrick is all about the future he’s created with his Navy brothers in Eagle Securities, taking assignments in the most dangerous places, and doing things no one but ex-military would attempt. But when an urgent phone call brings his troubled past—and the woman he once loved—into the present, it’s a chance to redeem himself that he can’t refuse.

An investigative journalist researching an explosive story, Delaney Shapiro tells herself she got over Mac—and his role in her brother’s death—a long time ago. But the first moment she sees him at her bedside in an overseas hospital, she knows it’s not true. Every moment together rekindles the desire that once burned between them, and now that she’s a target for an emerging Russian arms dealer, Mac won’t let her out of his sight. To protect her, he’ll risk it all—including his life…

REVIEW – So this story has a lot going on. We have danger and romance, a lost love and a deep seated regret. But still the story flows smoothly and i have t say i loved Mac he is just the right side of alpha with Delaney. Tough and strong when he needs to be and gentle but firm when its called for. Delaney i totally could see how your feelings are all over the place for Mac but let me tell you sometimes you are asking for trouble though i love her independance and brains. Danger and suspense add another level to the story but the thing that gives this story five stars is the reminiscing of the past and learning to leave it behind. Not a need to read the others in the series but if you do you get a greater understanding of some of the secondary characters who are just as interesting to read.

“This is the reason I called her my angry girl in the first place. I was teasing her back then, but the truth of the matter is that she impressed me. She blew me away with her strength of character and her fire. She’s not just angry. She’s fierce. She’s determined. She’s strong. She’s brave as f#*$. She is everything she needs to be in order to withstand being in love with a man like me, and I am eternally grateful for that fact.”

Zeth Mayfair is on a mission to take care of business in New York. The only problem? The Babieri family seem intent on taking care of him. Permanently.

Sloane Romera’s just beginning to wrap her head around the idea of being a mother. When she’s shoved into the back of a black panel van without so much as the chance to scream, she finally realizes she’ll do whatever it takes to protect the growing child inside her.

And when Zeth finds out what’s happened to his Angry Girl…

…Seattle had better prepare for fireworks.

Review – This series is action packed and it continues into this 3rd book. The danger and suspense mix perfectly with the hot and sexy romance of Zeth and Sloane. Callie has done it again she has created a series of books that have kept me hooked and wishing i could meet a man, hardly likely in the area i live lol. I do not want to ruin the story for you, but obviously you need to read the other books in the series, but trust me Zeth is a man who will give many of your book boyfriends a run for that title. Action packed and heart pounding

Review – This book and a fresh and exciting storyline. Plenty of action with hot mafia men and the woman who gets under Henry’s skin.Henry may be a hacker, but he is no like other hackers i have seen represented, this man is power and intelligence and has a sizzling chemistry with Mary. This book can be read as a stand alone and it kept me hooked and intrigued by where Soraya was taking this story.
