The Wall Of Winnipeg & Me Book Cover The Wall Of Winnipeg & Me
Mariana Zapata

Vanessa Mazur knows she’s doing the right thing. She shouldn’t feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary.

But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she’s beyond shocked.

For two years, the man known as The Wall of Winnipeg couldn’t find it in him to tell her good morning or congratulate her on her birthday. Now? He’s asking for the unthinkable.

What do you say to the man who is used to getting everything he wants?

REVIEW – Ok where do i start, i have some very good friends in a book group who are super fans of this author. I have always wanted to read her work, after never hearing anyone say anything bad, but i did not know which one to start with. So a couple of weeks ago i jumped into this book. Well what can i say i did not want it to finish but i wanted to keep reading to find out what would happen next. Emotions play across the chapters not always so obvious to the reader but they are there and become such an important part of the story as we see the characters grow. At the beginning i found Aiden an ass, yes it is true, but then i grew to love this character, i could understand the way he was it leads to less disappointment. Vanessa is so perfect, i felt like she represents every woman who reads this story – she has doubts, she has conviction in her decisions, she loves deeply and carefully. But what i love most about this story is the way both characters become stronger and more secure with themselves and each other as the story goes on. I do not feel my words do this story justice but right now in this time of decisions in my life i really felt like Vanessa and Aiden gave me a chance to escape everyday dilemmas and to see that there is hope at the end sometimes you just have to give it a shot like these two did. #teamgraves PS 5 stars is not enough for this book i will never forget it and how he story made me feel
