Genre: Contemporary Romance

About The Outpost:

Trapped in his tiny mountain cabin, she didn’t expect to fall for his big heart.

Exposing a prominent criminal family with an investigative news report didn’t exactly work out the way Sabrina had hoped. Instead of basking in the glory of her article’s success, she’s on the run from a powerful man who wants her dead. To stay safe, she’s forced to trade one bad situation for another. Stuck in the Montana wilderness, she’s secluded from anything resembling civilization or the modern-day world. The only good thing about her situation is the gorgeous mountain man assigned to protect her. Too bad he isn’t the slightest bit interested in a city girl like her.

Beau likes his life quiet and simple. Give him a peaceful day hiking in the woods with his dog, and he’s a happy man. He has no use for large crowds, noisy cities or dramatic women. So when a hotshot reporter rolls into town, dragging her big-time problems with her, he should have run for the hills. Instead, he volunteered to keep her safe. Bringing her into his world won’t be easy, but if he can convince her that Montana isn’t as terrifying as she believes, they might just be the perfect match.

Review – This is the first book by this author i have read after hearing some very special book friends keep talking about this author. I must admit they are so right this author and her work needs reading. So this book is about romance the sort that burns slowly but when in full flame burns so bright it lights up your life but can also leave you scared. It is about stepping out of your comfort zone be it because of necessity or it is that point in you rlife when you need to do something different and then seeing the possibilities in front of you. Sabrina is a great character, usually when female characters want to mope around i want to throw my kindle at the wall. But here i am totally in agreement with Sabrina and her moping and then her fierceness as well. Beau is not the sort of man i love in a book normally, but as each layer of hum became revealed i grew to love him more. This book left me with some great surprises and kept the suspense going throughout when i thought well what could happen next, a new twist was revealed. Now i just have to go back and read the other books in the series 🙂 as this book can totally be read before others in my opinion.
